About the role
The New Product & Beta Programs Manager – Residential & C&I is a mission‑critical, fast‑paced role responsible for defining, executing, and scaling Enphase’s beta and pre‑launch programs for new Residential and C&I Enphase Energy Systems products.
This role owns the end‑to‑end beta execution lifecycle: from defining beta installation and operational processes, contracting and onboarding partners, coordinating homeowner and site engagement, managing timelines and risks, and delivering clear, data‑driven executive communication that enables confident go/no‑go launch decisions.
The ideal candidate is a top‑class program manager who thrives in ambiguity, operates with high intensity, and continuously improves execution through automation, tooling, and AI‑assisted workflows.
Location Requirement
This role is based in Northern California and will primarily support partners located in this specific region. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Northern California to be considered.
What you will do
Beta Program Requirement alignment with Installation Channel
- Define and own beta program executing workflow for residential and C&I Enphase products, including:
- Aligns Business with Beta objectives, success criteria, milestones, and exit requirements
- Installation, commissioning, and support processes
- Data collection, and feedback mechanisms
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to translate product readiness signals into executable beta plans.
Beta Execution & Field Coordination
- Lead the day‑to‑day execution of multiple, concurrent beta programs across residential and C&I segments.
- Coordinate with:
- Enphase Installation Partners and other EPC beta partners
- Homeowners, building owners, and site stakeholders
- Internal field application engineers, customer support, engineering, and sales teams
- Ensure beta systems are installed, monitored, supported, and evaluated according to defined protocols.
- Rapidly identify risks, blockers, or pattern issues and drive cross‑functional resolution.
Beta Agreements & Partner Management
- Own the creation and execution of Beta Agreements, including:
- Installer/EPC beta participation agreements
- Homeowner agreements
- Act as the primary point of accountability for beta partners, ensuring clear communication, compliance, and engagement throughout the program.
Executive Communication & Reporting
- Create and deliver high‑impact executive reports and dashboards, including:
- Daily and weekly beta status updates
- Key risk and mitigation summaries
- Readiness indicators and confidence assessments
- Support formal beta reviews, launch readiness reviews, and executive decision forums with structured data, insights, and recommendations.
- Translate complex technical and field feedback into clear, actionable executive narratives.
Process Optimization, Automation & AI Enablement
- Continuously improve beta execution by introducing:
- Automation for data aggregation, reporting, and issue tracking
- Scalable workflows across tools (e.g., CRM, jira-ticketing, monitoring systems)
- AI‑assisted analysis of field data, logs, and partner feedback
- Challenge legacy processes and proactively propose new operating models that improve speed, visibility, and launch confidence.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Serve as the central Sales Channel orchestration point across Product Management, Engineering, Field Applications, Technical Support, Operations, Legal, and Sales.
- Drive accountability while maintaining strong collaboration across global teams.
- Represent beta execution realities into product roadmap, launch planning, and readiness criteria discussions.
Who you are and What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Management, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, new product introduction (NPI), or complex beta programs, ideally in: Solar, energy storage, power electronics, or hardware‑software systems
- Demonstrated success leading high‑velocity, cross‑functional programs with significant external dependencies.
- Exceptional executive communication skills (written, verbal, hookup slides, dashboards).
- Proven ability to operate under pressure and drive clarity in ambiguous environments.
- Strong understanding of:
- Residential and/or C&I solar + storage systems
- Field installation and commissioning realities
- Hardware, firmware, and system‑level readiness challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience running beta or pilot programs involving external partners and real customer sites.
- Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, or interconnection considerations impacting beta deployments.
- Experience using automation, scripting, dashboards, or AI tools to scale program execution.
- Background working closely with Field Applications or Customer Support organizations.
- Prior experience in fast‑growth companies.

The base pay range for this position is $135,000 to $185,000 per year. This salary range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions. This position is also eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
